This weekend has been interesting and long. It is one of 3 four day weekends I have this month! Like always it has had its ups and downs, but all in all it has been good. We spent the fourth with friends in NC. We had burgers on the grill and got to light off fireworks. We played with adorable baby goats and wasted ammo down at the neighbors house.

I got some beautiful photos of some sun dogs and a partial 22° halo… but my wife erased them from the camera so no one will ever see them. Oh well, accidents happen… Happy birthday USA!
Well, now it is the fifth and I must get ready for the month ahead, and a busy month it is going to be. I have doctors appointments and vacation to DC, and at the end of the month I am (as long as I save up enough money) getting my hair fixed! I am very excited for that even though it is going to hurt. The thought of not having to wear a wig is indescribable. I have been balding since I was like 17 or 18. I love wigs and playing with different lengths but right now I have to wear a wig, knowing that makes this all still feel a bit like dress up. Fortunately that feeling seems to be subsiding. In reality now the only things I need to do is shave and put on my wig. No one notices anything else… oh except my voice. Seems like that is my biggest give away, I’ll need to work on that.
Well… more later I am sure. For now I am going to enjoy my late breakfast and then relax a bit before going back to work tomorrow.
